This morning we visited Gaudi's Sagrada Familia cathedral that is still being constructed. Gaudi worked on this for the latter part of his career. It seemed like an obsession. He needed up sleeping at the construction site. It is quite a place.
We then wandered up Passig Gaudi and ate at a little cafe overlooking the Sagrada Familia.
It is no longer in use. I'm not sure how many buildings it has, but it is really impressive.
We ended the day with a drink by the hospital. What an adventure.
I guess everyone lived on or near the site because Gaudi built this very cute school of the children of the workers.
We kept walking up the street and came to the Hospital St. Paul, built by Domenech i Mantaner--the same Modernista architect who built the Palau de Musica. This is our first glance of the hospital.
