Day 18 Barcelona: Parc Gruell

Gaudi’s connection to nature was very evident at Parc Gruell.  The mosaic work and architecture were wonderful.

Even more amazing were the paths and viaducts he created.  It was so beautiful walking around the park.

This is the house Gaudi lived in for 20 years.

He certainly had a wonderful view.  This area was supposed to be a planned community, but only 3 houses were ever built.

We ended the day at the Plaza Real with a wonderful lobster dinner.  The square is a very pleasant place to hang out.

Guadi made all of the lamp posts in this square as a young man before he was famous.
