Day 10 Valencia: City of Arts and Sciences

We spent the day at the amazing complex created by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.  We started at the aquarium--the largest in Europe.  It was an amazing place--huge--but too many kids so we moved on.

As we were walking to the Science Museum, we passed a truck that was unloading police horses.  We later saw them having what looked like a lovely ride in the park.

We took a tour of the the
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia--an arts complex with an opera house, a philharmonic hall, and two smaller venues.  The place is amazing.  Unfortunately the opera starts the day we leave Valencia.

This is a photo looking up the staircase of the opera hall and the photo below is of a door handle.

I don't know what this walkway is called, but it was lovely.

Had a nice dinner at a neighborhood restaurant.  Another great day.

Also, a cab driver and a security guard asked us about Trump.  They both said he is very dangerous.  No kidding!!
