Day 5: Jerez, the Spanish Riding School, & Cadiz

Today we took a day tour that ended up being really nice.  The country side was full of sunflowers which made the hour bus ride to Jerez enjoyable.

We toured the Gonzalez Byass Sherry Bodega.  It the one that makes the famous Tio Pepe Sherry.  They had celebrities sign casks of aging sherry.

We then went to the Spanish Andalusian Riding School.  It was a pretty amazing performance. They seemed to be very gentle with the horses.  I've heard they are trained with care, but who knows for sure.

The grounds of the riding school were lovely.

We were then off to the seaside town of Cadiz.

We took a short ferry ride to the small town of Santa Maria and then back to Seville.

It was another good day.
